Abstract

The conflict between Palestine and Israel has a major impact on children caught up in the violence, making them the most vulnerable group. Around 2.4 million children in Gaza and the West Bank are at high risk of experiencing violence and trauma. Children often experience physical attacks, psychological trauma, lack of access to education, and limited health services. Non-governmental organizations such as UNICEF have an important role to play in providing aid, despite facing many challenges. International humanitarian law guarantees the protection of children, but implementation is often hampered. This research uses a qualitative approach with the aim of gaining an in-depth understanding of how humanitarian law views the rights and future of children who were victims of the Palestinian-Israeli war. Data collection for research can be done by conducting a document study, namely a data collection technique by studying various documents or literature that are relevant to the research topic. UNICEF in handling child sexual violence in Palestine-Israel are in accordance with international humanitarian law despite experiencing several challenges in its implementation. They guarantee health, education and recovery assistance for children.
