Abstract
This research aims to examine and analyze the law enforcement efforts undertaken by the Malang City Police in addressing the criminal act of providing online prostitution services, as well as to identify the obstacles faced in the enforcement process. Online prostitution is a form of crime that has emerged along with the rapid development of digital technology and poses negative impacts on
social and moral values within society. The study adopts a sociological juridical approach with data collected through interviews, literature review, and documentation. The results indicate that the Malang City Police have implemented
various measures, such as cyber patrols, online investigations via social media, and legal action against perpetrators. However, several obstacles remain, including limited access to digital evidence, difficulties in tracing perpetrator identities, and low public awareness to report such crimes. Therefore, stronger cooperation among law enforcement agencies, the community, and other stakeholders is essential to effectively combat online prostitution practices.
