RESISTENSI NELAYAN DESA WERU KEC. PACIRAN KAB. LAMONGAN TERHADAP LARANGAN PENGGUNAAN ALAT TANGKAP CANTRANG

This research was conducted to identify resistance patterns and factors that encourage resistance by Weru Village fishermen to government policies, namely Ministerial Regulation Number 2/Permen-KP/2015 regarding the prohibition of the use of Cantrang (Payang) fishing gear. Based on the problem formulation contained in the research above, the purpose of this research is to find out, understand and identify the factors that encourage fishermen's resistance in Weru Village, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency to the prohibition of the use of payang fishing gear based on Ministerial Regulation Number 2/Permen-KP/2015 concerning the Prohibition of the Use of Fishing Gear. Based on this research conducted using a qualitative approach with the perspective of James Scoot. Qualitative research is research conducted in natural conditions based on the post-positivism paradigm. Factor analysis of the problems that occur in Weru village, Paciran sub-district related to local fishing community conflicts caused by the prohibition of payang fishing gear used in meeting daily needs is based on several aspects, namely Psychology, Economy, Social, Culture, Religion and Legal compliance as a reference to the conflict that is happening based on the perspective of the local community. Factor analysis is a multivariate statistical technique used for the reduction and summarisation of dependent and copy variables.
