Abstract

This thesis discusses the planning of clean water distribution and wastewater disposal systems in the UNESA International Lab School building in Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to calculate the need for clean water, the capacity of the water tank, design a clean water and wastewater piping system, and design an effective and efficient fire extinguishing system (hydrants). In the planning, an approach is used based on the number of users, the number of plumbing equipment, and the unit load of the plumbing equipment. The highest water requirement of 3.5 m³/hour is determined as the basis for planning. The capacity of the lower water tank is determined at 28 m³ and the upper water tank at 18 m³. System planning is carried out using Pipe Flow Expert software to ensure distribution efficiency and water pressure that meets standards. The results of this study GWT has a capacity of 20 m3 The diameter used is 6 inches to connect to GWT and 5 inches for outdoor, and 4 inches for indoor.
