Abstract

The PKN STAN Building, located in Bintaro, South Tangerang, is situated in an area
experiencing significant population growth and rapid economic development. To support the
function of this important educational facility, a structural redesign is required. This study focuses
on redesigning the PKN STAN building using a composite steel structure and the Load and
Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) method, in accordance with SNI 1729:2020 and other relevant
standards. The composite structure approach combines the strength of steel and concrete to enhance
structural efficiency, reduce material usage, and optimize building performance. The analysis
includes load calculation, structural modeling, and seismic response using the Response Spectrum
Analysis (RSA) method. The results are expected to provide an effective and safe structural
alternative for the future development of the PKN STAN building.
