Abstract
Flooding and water overflow issues often occur due to the lack of a real-time water level monitoring system. This study aims to design and implement a water surface monitoring device using the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor integrated with the ESP8266 microcontroller, which sends notifications through a Telegram Bot. The system measures the distance between the water surface and the sensor, and classifies the condition into three statuses: safe, alert, and danger. Each status is indicated by LEDs and a buzzer, and the notification is automatically sent via Telegram. System testing shows that the device responds quickly and accurately to water level changes. This system allows users to monitor water conditions remotely in an efficient and timely manner.
The proposed design offers a simple and low-cost solution for flood mitigation in residential environments
