Abstract

Background : Pneumonia is still one of the lower respiratory tract infections that has high morbidity and mortality rates, especially in developing countries. In Indonesia, community health centers as primary health care facilities play an important role in handling pneumonia cases. Including in the provision of antibiotics.
Objective : This study aims to determine the use of antibiotics in patients with pneumonia in community health centers.
Research Method : This the literature review study method obtained through the Google Schoolar database. Inclusion criteria include articles containing data on antibiotic use in pneumonia patients in community health centers published in 2013 - 2023, and available in full text.
Result and conclusions : From the analysis that has been carried out using the review article method with data used as many as 6 articles, the following conclusions that the percentage of pneumonia patients is predominantly male, at 55.65%. The largest age group is 0-5 years old, at 88.45%. The antibiotics used are amoxicillin (76.32%) and co-trimoxazole (37%).
