Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is very prone to disasters. In 2020, there were 4,649 disaster incidents and in 2021 there were 5,402 or an increase of 16.2% in disaster incidents. Natural disasters that occur often claim a large number of lives. This can be proven through data from BNPB which shows the high number of casualties after disasters occur every year. Based on information from BNPB and Basarnas, the factors causing the high number of casualties are the lack of public awareness regarding disaster response efforts and the delay in the rescue team to evacuate victims. So, to respond this, the author introduces DISESPACK (Disaster Emergency Starter Pack), a program that focuses on creating a community that is responsive to disaster emergencies. In its implementation, the DISESPACK program can be realized through “Triple E Programs” which consists of: Emergency Backpack, containing a starter pack for survival that is placed near the exit door. Educate of Housewives where a mother who has an important role in the family will be given education about disaster response efforts and E-Socialization of Disaster Response where the government conducts more massive socialization, so all the communities can comply with the disaster response program.
