Abstract
Planning for the construction of the Male Dormitory Building, Campus III, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, located on Jl. Locari, Tlekung, Junjero District, Batu City, East Java. The construction of this dormitory building has the main objective of increasing the number of students every year, adding floors to the lecture building to serve as residential accommodation to support the comfort and smoothness of the educational process. This addition is expected to provide more optimal facilities for students in pursuing academic activities on campus.
The results of the analysis of the construction planning of the male dormitory building use reinforced concrete structures and bored pile foundations. The components in this planning are the planning of a plate with a thickness of 13 cm, planning of column dimensions with a diameter of 80 cm, 70 cm, 60 cm, 40 cm. planning of beams with dimensions B1 40 cm x 60 cm, B2 40 cm x 50 cm which refers to the requirements for structural concrete for building structures, namely (SNI 2847: 2019), Earthquake Resistance Planning Regulations for Houses and Buildings (SNI 1726: 2019). Bored pile foundation with a diameter of 0.5 m with a bearing capacity of 227,217 tons per pile and a group bearing capacity of 772,702 tons with a depth of 12 m. Pile cap is planned in 4 types where 1 type measures 3 m x 3m x 1 m, 1 size is 4.5 m x 1.5 m x 1 m, 2 types measure 3 m x 1.5 m x 1 m. Taken based on the largest axial load of 595,481 tons found in column K1 with a reinforcement arrangement of D22-100 mm for x and y direction reinforcement, while the reinforcement is D13-100 mm. Reinforcement of piles with dimensions of 50 cm uses 8D19, with spiral reinforcement D10-50mm. The largest settlement occurred at 5.00 in 43 years. The settlement in high-rise buildings is required to meet the equation S < 15 + b/600, where 5.0 < 15.5 cm, thus fulfilling the equation based on (SNI 8460:2019) on Geotechnics. The planning for the construction of the Boys' Dormitory Building includes planning the upper structure, lower structure, and budget design. The structural analysis of the boys' dormitory building planning uses ETAABS software.
