Content created and then uploaded to social media is responded to by netizens with both positive and negative expressions, such as hate speech. Hate speech is speech that uses impolite language with negative connotations intended to insult, criticize, or demean others. The problem examined in this research is the form of hate speech in the form of phrases and sentences in content about the K-Pop idol Kim Namjoon of BTS on the TikTok account @KoreaSites.
