Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job crafting and work-life balance on work engagement among Human Resources (HR) employees in the Mardi Waluyo Hospital, Blitar City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study amounted to 61 people. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 61 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used were scale range and multiple regression analysis. The results of the scale range show that job crafting is in the high category, work-life balance is in the moderate category, and work engagement is in the high category. The results of the multiple regression analysis show that job crafting has a positive and significant effect on work engagement, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on work engagement, and job crafting is the most influential variable on work engagement than work-life balance. Thus, work engagement can increase if influenced by job crafting and work-life balance.
