Abstract

Cyberloafing has a significant influence on employee performance, especially in today’s digital era, the level of cyberloafing in an individual is assessed based on their personal self-control. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of cyberloafing on employee performance, with self-control as a moderating variable. This research uses a quantitative method, with data processed using the SmartPLS 3 software. The data was collected through an online questionnaire (Google Form) distributed to employees of PT. Sahen Teknik Indonesia. The respondents consisted of 102 employees, selected using the proportional sampling method. The data analysis technique involved path analysis. The results show that cyberloafing has a positive significant effect on employee performance, while self-control moderates cyberloafing on employee performance in a negative significant effect.
