Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (TBC) is an infectious disease that is still a serious health problem, especially in children. TBC treatment is carried out in two phases, the intensive phase and the continuation phase, where the continuation phase plays an important role in preventing relapse by eradicating residual germs.
Objective: This study aims to determine the pattern of use of advanced phase Anti-Tuberculosis in pediatric patients at the Kediri District Hospital, which includes the type of drug, dose, frequency, combination of therapy, time interval, and duration of use.
Method: This study used a retrospective descriptive method with a total sampling technique of 30 medical record data of pediatric patients undergoing advanced phase TBC treatment in 2024.
