Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of average length of schooling, open unemployment rate, internet infrastructure, and foreign investment on inclusive economic development in six provinces in Java Island in the period 2014–2023. The research method uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis through the Random Effect Model (REM) as the best model based on the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests. The results of the study indicate that average length of schooling, internet infrastructure, and foreign investment have a positive and significant effect on inclusive economic development, while the open unemployment rate has a negative and significant effect. These findings emphasize the importance of improving the quality of education, expanding access to digital infrastructure, and optimizing foreign investment to encourage equitable and sustainable economic growth in Java Island. This study is expected to provide input for local governments in formulating effective inclusive economic development policies.
