Abstract

Clean water plays a crucial role in human life because it is used daily for things like bathing, drinking, washing, cooking, industrial purposes, and household needs. To meet this demand, an assessment and development of the community's clean water supply needs are required to ensure optimal and efficient fulfillment. The purpose of this study is to determine the water needs at the study site and to develop a clean water distribution network system at the Buring Reservoir. To support the pipe network planning, appropriate software is required, namely WaterCAD. This tool functions to analyze the flow of water flowing in pipes and can measure the pressure in each pipe. The evaluation results show an increase in clean water services at the Buring Reservoir in DMA 3I, 3I-1, 3G, and 3H-2 from 81.92% (service in 2022) to 93.12% (service in 2032). The average clean water requirement during 2022 – 2032 reached 14.69 - 18.67 liters/second, the maximum daily water requirement during 2022 – 2032 was 16.90 - 21.47 liters/second and the peak hour requirement during 2022 – 2032 ranged from 22.04 - 28.01 liters/second.
