PERANCANGAN WEBSITE PARIWISATA MENGGUNAKAN METODE DESIGN THINKING (STUDI KASUS: WETOO BALIKPAPAN)

Tourism Awareness Groups (pokdarwis) in balikpapan play a role in developing and promoting local tourist destinations. However, there are several roles of pokdarwis that are hampered by the digitization of tourism. Researchers used the design thinking method to collect needs to design a prototype of the website theme. Based on the results of interviews conducted by the researcher to 10 respondents from the Balikpapan Tourism Ambassador Forum team and tourist visitors, there is a need for a website to maximize tourism management in the city. Through define, ideate, and prototype stages of design thinking method, we design point of view, style guide, and prototype of website theme in high fidelity. After that, researchers conducted testing using maze design on the prototype that had been made at the previous stage. The testing process was carried out with the same 10 respondents trying to run it on the maze testing platform with a final percentage of 96.66%. Next, the researchers implemented the prototype that had been made into the wordpress website theme. After finishing designing the wetoo website theme, the researcher conducted an evaluation using the system usability scale method with 10 respondents from the Balikpapan tourism ambassador forum team with an average score of 81,25 which has met the evaluation standards of the system usability scale method.
