Abstract

Yakult Lady is a direct distribution program managed by PT Yakult Indonesia Persada, which plays a crucial role in marketing and distributing Yakult products directly to consumers. This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and compensation on employee performance at Yakult Lady. This study used quantitative methods. The population in the study were active Yakult Lady employees working in the Malang area. The sample was determined using a saturated sampling technique with a sample size of 88 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire. This test was conducted using validity tests, instruments, and classical assumption tests. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression using SPSS and t-tests to determine the influence of each variable and a dominance test to determine which variable was most dominant. Motivation can continue to increase if employees can meet the company's desires in achieving goals. Good compensation can improve performance. The results of this study indicate that motivation and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance.
