PT Vale Indonesia is a mining company located in East Luwu Regency. Engaging in the mining sector gives PTVI the responsibility to balance the company's activities with environmental sustainability through the implementation of CSR. This study aims to explain PTVI's CSR activities related to environmental issues and then analyze their suitability with the sustainability principles contained in the Sustainable Development Goals. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative method with data collected through interview techniques, field studies and literature studies. The results of the study show that PTVI has implemented several environmental-based programs, namely coastal area conservation programs, nature conservation classes, climate village programs, and domestic community waste management. All of these activities reflect the company's commitment to supporting sustainability to community empowerment by always involving the community in every program implemented. The partnership between PTVI and the community that has been established shows that mining operations can go hand in hand with environmental sustainability and preservation efforts
