Abstract
Employee well-being and perceived workload are central topics in human resource management within the manufacturing industry. Shifts in job structure at PT Indolakto Purwosari are associated with job description adjustments, task distribution, and the implementation of quality ownership. Workplace conditions and role demands inform employees’ subjective experiences of workload, potentially affecting their well-being. This study aims to analyze differences in employee well-being based on levels of perceived workload among employees at PT Indolakto Purwosari. Using a quantitative comparative approach, the study involved 297 employees selected via cluster random sampling. Data collection employed the Employee Well-being Scale and NASA-Task Load Index, with analysis through One-Way ANOVA and Tukey Post Hoc tests. The results indicate significant differences in employee well-being across perceived workload categories (F=33.571; p<0.001), with well-being highest in the low workload group, then the moderate group, and lowest in the high workload group.
