Abstract
The dynamics of work in the era of the industrial revolution cause the flow of work to change, increasing workload so that work stress also tends to increase. This study aims to determine differences in work stress levels in terms of employee demographics, namely, gender, age, and department at PT Indolakto Purwosari. This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative research design. The subjects in this study amounted to 297 employees from various
departments. The instrument used in this study is the Health and Safety Executive: Work-Related Stress Scale (HSE-WRSS). The analysis techniques used in this study were Mann-Whitney and One Way ANOVA tests. The results obtained prove that there are significant differences in work stress levels in the department and age category, while in gender there are no significant differences in
work stress levels. This is influenced by various things, one of which is the workload received by employees.
