Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilization, green training, and job satisfaction on employee performance in minimarkets in Lubuklinggau City, and to test the role of work engagement as a moderator variable. The method used is a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results of the study indicate that AI, green training, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. AI contributes to automating routine tasks and supporting data-based decision making, which ultimately increases work effectiveness. Green training creates sustainability awareness and encourages responsible work behavior. Job satisfaction is the most dominant factor in driving performance, in accordance with Herzberg's motivation-hygiene theory. In addition, work engagement is proven to moderate the relationship between the three independent variables and performance. Work engagement strengthens the positive influence of AI, green training, and job satisfaction on performance, so that more engaged employees show higher performance.
