Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workload and work environment on employee satisfaction at PT. Angkasa Pura I I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport. Job satisfaction is an important factor that has a direct impact on employee productivity and performance. The research method used is explanatory research. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 85 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that workload has a negative and significant effect on employee satisfaction, meaning that the higher the workload, the level of satisfaction tends to decrease. Conversely, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction, meaning that the better the condition of the work environment, the higher the level of employee job satisfaction. Simultaneously, workload and work environment have a significant effect on employee satisfaction. These findings indicate the importance of management in balancing workload and creating a conducive work environment to improve employee satisfaction and performance
