Abstract
This study aims to develop weight and height monitoring features in sports applications using the UX Journey method, which can help understand user interactions, emotions, and needs to produce relevant and easy-to-use designs. The background of this study is the limitations of current sports application features, which only provide basic tracking such as distance traveled and calories without real-time weight and height monitoring integration. The research methods include user needs analysis, design prototyping, and validation using requirement metrics, acceptance criteria, and use case logic. The results of the study show that the application of the UX Journey method significantly improves the user experience through more comprehensive and needs-oriented features, with designs that enhance the accuracy of information and ease of use of the application. This research contributes to the development of more innovative, effective, and user-health-focused sports applications, positioning the UX Journey method as a strategic approach to improving the quality of sports software design.
