PENERAPAN RELIABILITY-CENTERED MAINTENANCE PADA PEMELIHARAAN TRUK DI CV BAROKAH ZA

The Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) method was selected to improve the maintenance effectiveness of the truck fleet at CV Barokah Za. Currently, the company still applies a reactive maintenance system (corrective maintenance), which resulted in 71 breakdowns throughout 2024, leading to high failure frequency and operational downtime. Through the RCM approach, this study identifies the essential functions of the trucks, failure modes, failure effects, and risk levels using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Logic Tree Analysis (LTA) methods. The proposed maintenance strategy is categorized into three types of actions: Condition Directed, Time Directed, and Failure Finding. By implementing RCM, CV Barokah Za can develop a more structured maintenance system, reduce unexpected breakdowns, and enhance the operational efficiency of its fleet.
