Abstract

This research was conducted on employees UD. LJ Dua Bersaudara, this study aims to determine and explore the effect of: (1) work motivation on employee performance, (2) work motivation on job satisfaction, (3) job satisfaction on employee performance, and (4) the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between work motivation and employee performance. Quantitative methods were used in this study, using a structural equation modeling - partial least square (SEM-PLS) analysis approach, and using 40 respondents. Based on the results of this study, the results obtained: (1) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (3) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and (4) job satisfaction has a mediating role in the relationship between work motivation and employee performance.
