EVALUASI PENYUSUNAN TATA LETAK FASILITAS PRODUKSI PADA CV BAGUS AGRISETA MANDIRI KOTA BATU

CV Bagus Agriseta Mandiri Kota Batu is a small industry engaged in the agro-industry sector, especially in processing apples into various processed products. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and design an optimal production facility layout to improve operational efficiency and reduce the distance between departments. This study uses the From To Chart and Activity Relationship Chart methods. The results of this study indicate that the company has a less efficient distance, with a total material movement distance of 50 meters. After the redesign, the total distance can be reduced to 45,7 meters, which shows an increase in efficiency of 4,3 meters. Based on these results, the suggestion given is to re-plan the facility layout.
