KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH : KORELASI PRODUKSI PADI TERHADAP FLUKTUASI HARGA BERAS DI KECAMATAN SINGOSARI KABUPATEN MALANG

Rice is one of the important commodities in the food life of Indonesian
society which can cause an imbalance between supply and demand. Singosari
District is one of the districts that has a large potential for rice production and
contributes to rice production in Malang Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze government policies in influencing rice production towards rice price fluctuations in Singosari District, Malang Regency and to analyze rice production factors in contributing to rice price fluctuations in Singosari District, Malang Regency. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a purposive sampling technique. The data used is path analysis with the SmartPLS 4 application. The results of the analysis show that land area has a negative correlation with rice production of (-0.205), while fertilizers, seeds, and labor are positively correlated. Government policies as an intervention in influencing rice production in one direction to maintain rice price stability, both at the farmer level supported by rice production factors and at the consumer level by 28.8% of rice price fluctuations in Singosari District, Malang Regency. Rice production factors (land area, fertilizer, seeds, and labor) contribute 46.5% to rice price fluctuations in Singosari District, Malang Regency.
