Analisis Inventory Management pada General Store Rayz Hotel UMM Malang

Inventory is an important aspect in supporting the smooth operation of the hotel, especially in the general store which is responsible for the availability of goods for various departments. However, in practice, inventory management still faces various obstacles such as limited storage space, stock mismatch with needs, and lack of coordination between departments. This study aims to analyze inventory management at the Rayz Hotel UMM general store using the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) evaluation model. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that inventory management strategies such as stock opname and estimation of needs based on room occupancy reports have been implemented, but have not been running optimally. The CIPP evaluation revealed that there were weaknesses in the input and process aspects, especially in space utilization, storage layout arrangements, and inventory management. These findings are expected to be used as evaluation material in efforts to improve the efficiency of hotel sector maintenance.
