Abstract
Teacher satisfaction in elementary schools is a psychological condition that must be present, as it can influence teachers' behavior in the teaching and learning process. Elementary school teachers who believe that their profession is a calling will work with all their heart and soul and will be satisfied with their tasks. This study aims to investigate the relationship between career calling and job satisfaction among elementary school teachers. The research subjects were 272 elementary school teachers in Malang, selected using quota sampling. The instruments used in this study were the career calling scale and the job satisfaction scale. The analysis employed the Pearson Correlation method. The results of the analysis indicate a positive relationship between career calling and job satisfaction among elementary school teachers (r = 0.706, p = 0.001 (p < 0.05)). The implications of this study are that teachers are encouraged to have a strong sense of calling to enhance education for elementary school-aged children. Additionally, schools are encouraged to improve factors that contribute to teacher job satisfaction.
