Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of workload and management support on the quality of work life. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, and the data analysis technique employs Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The number of respondents is 70 millennial employees in the Brand Management Department at PT Semen Gresik. This research uses Nonprobability Sampling categorized as Simple Random Sampling. The results of the study show that workload and management support have a significant effect on the quality of work life and work engagement. Furthermore, work engagement is found to significantly mediate the relationship between workload and management support on the quality of work life. These findings indicate the importance of managing workload proportionally and optimal management support to enhance work engagement without compromising the quality of employees' work life.
