Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of readiness to change on employee performance with organizational culture as a moderating variable. The objects of the study were employees from four village offices in Binangun District, Blitar Regency, namely Rejoso, Ngembul, Umbuldamar, and Sumberkembar Villages, which were chosen because they have limited infrastructure and access to technology. The population of this study was 140 employees spread across 12 villages, samples were taken from 4 village offices totaling 47 employees and the sampling used was purposive sampling. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with a survey approach through questionnaires to 47 respondents. Data analysis techniques used simple regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that readiness to change had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture did not have a positive effect on performance, and did not moderate the relationship between readiness to change and employee performance. These findings indicate the need to increase employee readiness for change and strengthen organizational culture to support optimal performance in the village government environment.
