UPAYA PETERNAK SUSU SAPI DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEREKONOMIAN KELUARGA DI DUSUN TOYOMERTO, DESA PESANGGRAHAN, KOTA BATU

This study aims to describe the conditions and efforts of dairy farming families in Toyomerto Hamlet, Pesanggrahan Village, Batu City in improving their family economy. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of this study describe the conditions of dairy farming families in terms of material aspects (clothing, food, and shelter), social, spiritual, and economic aspects. In addition to being dairy farmers, some families also work as farmers, engage in odd jobs, collaborate with others, and sell calves (pedet). However, in pursuing these professions, the community of Toyomerto Village feels there is insufficient support from the village government. Therefore, there is a need for support in the form of providing facilities, socialization, and training to enhance knowledge regarding proper and effective dairy cow care.
