UPAYA KEPOLISIAN DALAM PENANGGULANGAN TINDAK PIDANA PROSTITUSI ONLINE YANG MELIBATKAN ANAK SEBAGAI KORBAN (STUDI DI KEPOLISIAN RESORT KOTA MALANG

Online prostitution activities involving children are wrong activities because they violate or even eliminate children's rights, therefore the police's efforts in overcoming online prostitution crimes involving children as victims. The problems in this study are 1) How are the efforts of the Malang City Resort Police in overcoming online prostitution crimes involving children as victims in Malang City? 2) What are the obstacles of the Malang City Resort Police in overcoming online prostitution crimes involving children as victims in Malang City? The approach method used is the sociological legal approach method with data analysis techniques using qualitative description analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that the preventive efforts made by the Malang City Resort Police include: blocking all sites that have the potential for online prostitution crimes involving children and educating the public. The repressive efforts of the Malang City Resort Police include: conducting investigations and investigations into cases,
providing protection for victims and confidentiality of victims' identities, counseling, legal assistance and medical services/assistance. The constraints of the Malang City Resort Police can be reviewed from two aspects, where reviewed from
the preventive constraint aspect includes limited human resources in the field of information technology and the less pro-active attitude of the community and less open to the police when education is carried out. When reviewed from the repressive constraint aspect includes: constraints in the investigation and investigation of cases, counseling and legal assistance.
