Abstract

Abstract: Low back pain or lower back pain is a problem that often occurs
in adults. LBP is a painful condition that is felt in the lower back area.
Ergonomic problems are the main things that cause LBP, such as sitting for
too long, bending over and sitting to standing movements. A 200% bent
position provides a heavier load than an upright position. This research was
conducted in Kalianget Timur village, Kalianget sub-district, Sumenep
Regency, Madura. The approach to this research is in the form of counseling
with materials and demonstrations of seated lower back rotation and knee
to chest stretch exercises. measurement of low back pain using the Pain Self
Efficacy Questionnaire (PSEQ) and the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI).
The total score using the PSEQ which consists of 10 items is 23 with a
moderate interpretation while the ODI is 30% so the interpretation of pain
in this group is more and there are problems sitting, lifting and sleeping.
Meanwhile, social life, standing and sex are light. Early treatment, walking
and traveling have little effect. After carrying out PSEQ and ODI
measurements, it can be stated that cake making workers in Kalianget
village experience LBP when doing long activities and LBP disorders when
sitting and lifting and have a little difficulty working.
