Abstract
This research aims to explore the Kabul Bodong Cassation Decision in civil law and the legal remedies that can be taken for the aggrieved party. This research applies a normative juridical method with a focus on the analysis of judicial decisions that have permanent legal force to overcome legal vacancies in civil procedure law, especially in Indonesia. The results of this study show that there are discontinuities and differences in Cassation Decision Number 576 K/Pdt/2020 in
the judge's consideration and the verdict. Where in his consideration the judge granted the Petitioner's request, but in his verdict he actually punished the Petitioner in accordance with the demands of the opposing party. The emergence of the Kabul Bog Cassation Decision results in non-executable and cannot be a solution or effort in resolving existing cases because it does not reflect the value of
justice, legal certainty, and benefits. Ideally, parties who feel aggrieved by the existence of a Kabul Bog Cassation Decision can file an extraordinary legal remedy in the form of a Review (PK) on the basis of the judge's error or a clear error in the decision.
