PROBLEMATIKA PENDIDIKAN BAGI PEKERJA ANAK DI LOKASI PEMILAHAN SAMPAH DESA JATISARI KABUPATEN MALANG

A child needs to get the rights they deserve, namely the right to education, but in reality there are still many children who have not received their rights, especially the right to education. Children who do not get enough education are children who work to help their families, many people assume that helping parents work is the obligation of every child and as a learning experience for children. So efforts to fulfill education for children who work are very necessary because this has an impact on the future of these children. This study aims to determine the factors causing child labor at waste sorting locations and the solutions provided to overcome the problem of child labor at waste sorting locations. This study uses a purposive sampling method with a descriptive qualitative approach, and is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data collection, data reduction, and conclusions. The subjects in this study were 5 children who worked at waste sorting locations, in addition, the techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the cause of child labor is due to a dilemma within themselves, this dilemma occurs due to economic factors and family factors in fulfilling their educational rights but has been given a solution related to the problem where they have been registered for a package catch-up school.
