Abstract

Battery and Supercapacitor Usage Control System refers to the development of an optimal control system for battery and supercapacitor energy usage in applications that require portable energy storage, such as mobile electronic devices, electric vehicles, and battery-based energy storage systems. The functions of Battery and Supercapacitor Usage Control are Enabling automatic control of power switching between battery and supercapacitor power sources, improving energy usage efficiency, and Optimizing battery usage so as to extend battery life. Specifications of the Battery and Supercapacitor Usage Control System product there are components used such as, Microcontroller which is used as a MOSFET controller connected to a DC-DC Converter so that it can automatically control the power switch between battery and supercapacitor sources. There is also a current sensor used to read the threshold on the load, as well as a voltage sensor connected to the LCD as an indicator of the output value of the power source.
