The UCCN program is a form of UNESCO's effort to strengthen the role of creativity as an acceleration in building sustainable cities or sustainable urban development in order to realize The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, there are cultural diplomacy efforts carried out by the Ambon city government as a member of the creative city provided by UCCN, This study uses a qualitative approach that combines a descriptive approach, The results of the study show that there are cultural diplomacy efforts carried out by the Ambon city government, namely in the form of cultural diplomacy exhibitions the birth of various musical performances in the city of Ambon, negotiations between the Ambon government and UCCN in holding musical performances as a creative city targeting international music performers so as to promote sustainable culture and economy The goal achieved by the Ambon government in cultural diplomacy is the recognition of Ambon city as a city of music, this cannot be separated from the efforts and processes of cultural diplomacy carried out by the Ambon city government, and tourism and arts are means of cultural diplomacy used by the Ambon city government in compiling a proposal scheme to UCCN by highlighting music tourism in 10 tourist destinations in five sub-districts in Ambon city with performances of musical instruments that are typical of the area.
