ANALISIS PELAKSANAAN PROYEK PELAJAR BERKEMAJUAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR MUHAMMADYAH KOTA MALANG

This study aims to find out an in-depth description of the implementation of the progressive student project, which is a P5 program in the independent curriculum that is characteristic of Muhammadiyah. The background of this study is that the independent curriculum, which has the characteristic of learning the Pancasila student project, also needs to bring out the characteristics of Muhammadiyah students, namely being progressive. In this study, the researcher wants to know to what extent the progressive student project has been implemented and find a solution so that the implementation of the progressive student project can be carried out simultaneously and carefully in all Muhammadiyah schools. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative which aims to explore a case in depth. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, documentation, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The results of the study showed that there are still many schools that have not introduced the progressive student project even though they are aware of the program. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the progressive student project has not been carried out optimally, but after the FGD was held, the character of the progressive student was successfully included in the teaching module which later all Muhammadiyah elementary schools in Malang city will follow the format. This finding is expected to be a good start for the progressive student program in the future, so that it can become a characteristic product of Muhammadiyah schools.
