Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find whether institutional ownership affects firm value in the primary consumption sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), to find whether investment decisions affect firm value in the primary consumption sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and to find whether profitability affects firm value in the primary consumption sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This type of research uses quantitative research and the data used is secondary data with pooling data documentation retrieval techniques. The population used is 112 and the number of samples is 49 primary consumption sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2022-2023. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The data analysis used in this study is the data pooling analysis method with multiple linear regression analysis operated through SPSS versi 29. The partial analysis results show that Institutional Ownership has no significant effect on firm value, while Investment decisions and Profitability have a significant effect on firm value.
