Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has been a difficult time for all of us, including countries around the world, including the Maldives. The Maldives, an archipelago with a strong tourism industry, has been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify and analyze the Maldivian government's decisions to address this challenge. The research method used is qualitative, utilizing McKetchter's Decision-Making concept. This concept is used to understand the Maldivian government's considerations and choices to address and stabilize the country's tourism industry. Based on the results of this study, the researcher concludes that the programs and policies implemented by the Maldivian government are appropriate and successful. This is evident in the declining unemployment rate and increasing GDP revenue from the tourism sector.
