Abstract
This research aims to explore how cmlabs, as an SEO service provider, delivers content optimization strategies to support clients’ media exposure needs within the framework of digital communication. In today’s highly competitive digital environment, SEO plays a critical role in enhancing organizational visibility through organic search. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study focuses on cmlabs’ internal work processes without evaluating the effectiveness of public relations strategies on the client side. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with SEO and marketing practitioners at cmlabs, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that cmlabs applies data-driven SEO strategies, including audience-intent-based keyword mapping and the strategic distribution of relevant digital content, to fulfill client communication objectives. James E. Grunig’s Excellence Theory was used to analyze how these practices reflect a two-way symmetrical communication model. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of SEO integration within digital communication strategies and expands the perspective on collaboration between SEO service providers and clients in building effective media exposure.
