IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK PADA MATA PELAJARAN TEKNIK KOMPUTER DAN JARINGAN DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN HARDSKILLS DAN SOFTSKILLS PESERTA DIDIK DI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 GENTENG

In the era of industry 4.0, the world of work requires graduates who not only have qualified technical skills but also soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem solving. In this case, students are required to have soft skills and hard skills in the learning process so that students meet the standards in the world of work. This study aims to describe project-based learning in Computer and Network Engineering subjects and describe the hard skills and soft skills of students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Genteng. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with interview, observation, and documentation study methods. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman Model. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of project-based learning in Computer and Network Engineering subjects is very effective in developing students' hard skills and soft skills. This learning method has succeeded in improving hard skills such as network installation, troubleshooting, and device configuration, as well as soft skills such as collaboration, communication, and time management. However, this study also shows a gap in achievement between active and less active students. This is a challenge that requires special attention, especially in terms of providing additional support and guidance for less active students. On the other hand, there is no documentation of the project outcomes in the form of presentations or publications, which could strengthen the reflection and authentic assessment aspects. With continuous improvement, project-based learning is expected to provide a wider and deeper positive impact on the development of student competencies.
