ANALISIS RISIKO PRODUKSI DAN RISIKO PENDAPATAN USAHATANI BAWANG MERAH PADA WAKTU SEASON DAN OFFSEASON DI KECAMATAN MOJOWARNO KABUPATEN JOMBANG

ABSTRACT
Shallots are a superior commodity and have high economic value. One of the advantages of shallots compared to other horticultural commodities is that they have a longer shelf life. The purpose of this study was to determine the sources of risk experienced by shallot farmers and to analyze the level of production and income risk in Mojowarno District, Jombang Regency. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis approach. The sampling technique uses a census method which is carried out on all farmer populations. The results of the study showed that the sources of risk experienced by shallot farmers in Mojowarno District include changing climate/weather, pest and disease attacks, seed quality, land fertility, and also very fluctuating prices in the market. The results of the analysis of the level of production risk during the season and offseason showed CV results of 0.60 and 0.63 which indicated a high level of risk, and the results of the analysis of income risk during the season and offseason showed CV results of 0.54 and 0.66 which indicated a very high level of income risk.
