Abstract

This study examines the influence of transformational leadership on work performance and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a moderating variable among Perhutani KPH Blitar employees. The background of this study is based on the importance of leadership in encouraging improved work performance and positive employee behavior that goes beyond formal job descriptions. This study used a quantitative approach with a population of 202 employees. The research sample was determined through a simple random sampling method using the Slovin formula, resulting in 134 respondents who completed a structured questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed using Interaction Regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test the role of CSR as a moderating variable. The results showed that transformational leadership had a significant effect on work performance and OCB. In addition, CSR was proven to strengthen the relationship between transformational leadership and both variables. This means that when employees perceive that their company has high social responsibility, the influence of transformational leadership on work performance and OCB becomes stronger. These findings provide practical implications that the integration of visionary leadership with consistent CSR implementation can create superior and competitive human resources.
