This study aims to examine the integration of local wisdom in science learning at SD N Kelurahan Air Temam and assess its effectiveness. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type to understand the processes and dynamics that occur deeply. The research procedure includes a preparation stage for problem identification, literature search, and preparation of research instruments such as interview guidelines, observation checklists, and student questionnaires. Furthermore, the data collection process is carried out through in-depth interviews with science teachers, principals, and fifth-grade students; participatory observation of the learning process in the classroom; distributing questionnaires to obtain quantitative data on student perceptions and motivations; and documentation of the curriculum and learning materials used in schools. The research respondents were science teachers, principals, and 30 fifth-grade students selected purposively to obtain data from various perspectives. The main instruments include interview guidelines, observation sheets, student questionnaires, and curriculum documentation. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively through interview transcription, coding, theme categorization, and thematic analysis to identify patterns and relationships. Quantitative data from the questionnaire were analyzed descriptively using percentages, averages, and distributions of answers to strengthen the interpretation of qualitative data. To improve validity and legitimacy, triangulation of sources and methods, member checking of key informants, and audit trails were conducted to document the entire research process in detail. The results of the analysis show that (1) Integration of local wisdom in science learning at SD N Kelurahan Air Temam has proven effective in significantly improving students' understanding of concepts, learning motivation, and learning outcomes (2) Application of local wisdom in learning plays a vital role in strengthening students' cultural identity while fostering awareness of the importance of preserving regional culture (3) Integration of local wisdom in science learning in elementary schools requires ongoing support and collaboration from all parties so that it can be implemented optimally and have an impact on improving the quality of education.
