Abstract

This research was conducted on employees of the General Hospital of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, with a total population of 75 employees. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total of 57 respondents who met specific criteria. The type of research applied was explanatory research with a quantitative approach.
The data obtained through questionnaires were processed using the SPSS application. Data analysis in this study included instrument testing (validity and reliability tests), classical assumption tests, path analysis, and partial significance tests (t-tests). The results of the study indicated that workplace spirituality had a positive and significant effect on work engagement. Additionally, workplace spirituality also had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction was proven to have a positive and significant effect on work engagement. These findings demonstrate that workplace spirituality not only has a direct role in influencing work engagement but also indirectly through increasing employee job satisfaction.
