Abstract

This study aims to develop a Google Sites-based mathematics matriculation e-module that can facilitate independent learning and improve high school students' understanding of mathematical concepts, especially in the material of numbers and algebra. The background of this study is based on the fact that many new high school students still experience gaps in mastering basic mathematical concepts, which impacts their readiness to follow advanced materials. On the other hand, the need for flexible learning media that is in accordance with technological developments is increasing, so that Google Sites-based e-modules are seen as an innovative solution to support independent matriculation programs. This study uses a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) and was implemented at SMA Surya Buana Malang. The research instruments include a validation questionnaire by experts, a practicality and effectiveness questionnaire by students, and interviews and oral tests. The results showed that the developed e-module met the valid criteria with a validity score of 0.82, was very practical with a score of 0.96, and effective with an effectiveness score of 0.86. This e-module is not only easy for students to access and use, but is also able to improve learning independence and understanding of mathematical concepts. Thus, this Google Sites-based e-module is worthy of being used as an alternative media in matriculation learning in high schools.
