Abstract

Mathematics learning at the junior high school level is often hampered by traditional approaches that do not facilitate independent and meaningful learning1. This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective constructivist-based e-module for mathematics to address these challenges2. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using a modified 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects were five ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri Satu Atap 6 Bulik Timur and expert validators. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, tests (pretest-posttest), observations, and interviews, which were then analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods and the N-Gain test. The research results showed that the developed e-module was validated by experts with an average score of 4.30 (Very Valid) for the content aspect, 4.11 (Valid) for the media aspect, and 4.15 (Valid) for the language aspect. From the field test results, the e-module was proven to be highly practical with a practicality score of 92.33%. The e-module was also proven to be Very Effective with a student perception score of 87.71% and was able to significantly improve students' conceptual understanding, as evidenced by an increase in
