MAKNA PENDAPATAN BAGI KARYAWAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF AKUNTANSI RUMAH TANGGA STUDI KASUS PADA PT INFO GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI SEMESTA

This study aims to examine the meaning of income for employees in the perspective of household accounting, with a case study at PT Info Global Teknologi Semesta. The main focus of this study is how employees, both male and female, interpret, manage, and recognize the income they earn in the context of the household. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through open questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The results of the study indicate that male employees tend to interpret income as a symbol of responsibility and role as head of the family, while female employees see income more as a form of independence and self-existence. In terms of income management, female employees tend to be more structured and systematic than men, both in recording, allocating funds, and long-term financial planning. These differences also r eflect the influence of gender roles in the application of household accounting principles. This study emphasizes the importance of financial literacy and the application of fair and adaptive household accounting to the social conditions of employees in realizing family economic stability.
